# 100% Free & Self-Hosted

> FOSSA is completely free, 100% open-source under AGPL-3.0, and self-hosted with no paid tiers, subscriptions, or selling.

FOSSA is completely free, open-source software. There are **no paid plans**, **no Teams subscriptions**, **no enterprise paywalls**, and **no selling**. Every feature is unlocked and available to every developer and team forever.

  **Zero platform fees, zero license keys.** FOSSA runs entirely on your own infrastructure via Docker. You only connect your own API key (BYOK) for whichever LLM provider you choose to use.

## True BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

FOSSA does **not** sell LLM tokens or charge markups. FOSSA is pure open-source software that communicates directly with your chosen AI provider using your own credentials:

## Self-Hosting Quickstart

Run the complete platform locally or on your own server in minutes:

# Clone the repository

cd fossa

# Copy environment config
cp .env.example .env

# Start with Docker Compose
pnpm run docker:start
```

Once running, the web dashboard is accessible at `http://localhost:3000` with all features unlocked.
